The cold snap last week added an unusual look to The Count House but just one week on Spring has firmly taken hold. The porch is finished and painted inside and lighting has been connected inside and out. Lights above the patio will be installed this week along with internal over-mounted lights above cooking and washing up stations and an extractor fan. Benches for inside the porch are treated and ready to be installed, as are commemorative plaques recording Mike Banks’ and Ernie Philips’ legacies which have enabled the works to be undertaken. These will be fixed during the planned maintenance meet on 24th/25th March along with a number of internal repair and decorating jobs.
