We are sad to announce that Ron James passed away peacefully, at home, on the 1st March. He was 90 years old on January 17th. We offer condolences to his family and friends.
Ron has been a CC member since 1959, founder of The Ogwen Cottage Mountain School, author of “Rock Climbing in Wales” (the first selected climbs guidebook covering N.Wales), author of the Alpine Club “Dolomites” guidebook. See his Wikipedia for more details:
