Culm Meet – July 2018

Better weather than last year meant that that the 11 members got some climbing in on Saturday.

The guide authors went to check out Smoothlands, there are pictures but cannot be shown in public of them retreating waist deep, rucksac overhead. The rest went to Blisterin’ Barnacle Slab. It turned out to be slightly greasy due to the high humidity but many routes were climbed. Languishing Limpets repelled all suitors due to too many small limpets in all the holds. An evening BBQ followed.

Sunday was supposed to have the same weather, but this was not true – so a walk to Vicarage Cliff followed by a cream tea at Morwestowe, proved to be the big draw.”
