North Wales / Llanberis ‘Tradfest’ June 2014

North Wales and ‘trad’ climbing are synonymous. Combined with a wide variety of easily accessible crags, all within a short distance of one another, Llanberis and its famous ‘Pass’ has a climbing heritage that attracts climbers from all corners of the globe – so what better place to hold a ‘Tradfest’ get together…

This event is being hosted by DMM, The Climbers’ Club, and V12 with additional support from Scarpa and The North Face – tickets numbers are strictly limited to 150 (50 for DMM, 50 for the Climbers’ Club, and 50 for V12) and will be available on a first come, first service basis.

The hub for this informal gathering over the weekend of 27th – 29th June is the campsite opposite the Vaynol Arms in Nant Peris

The cost of a ticket is £20.00, which will include the following:

  • Friday night quiz starting at 9.00pm
  • A ‘goody-bag’ containing a special edition ‘tradfest’ t-shirt, a special edition DMM ‘tradfest’ carabiner and a choice of a CC Llanberis, Ogwen, or Tremadog guidebook
  • A Hog Roast on the Saturday night plus beer (a veggie option will be provided)
  • Saturday night speakers (DMM and or Scarpa will be laying on one of their sponsored heroes for this)
  • Scarpa ‘demo’ rock shoes for folk to try
