The UK UIAA Diploma of Mountain Medicine is running an advanced course for diploma holders next week. The course is guided by British UIAGM guides on a day ski trip basis including medical and training avalanche input. One member has had to drop out at very short notice. The cost including hotel accommodation and guiding is £1600 but to minimise his financial loss he is willing ot accept any sensible offers.
Although primarily designed for ski experienced mountain medicine doctors in the past non medics have joined us and had a fun time. If you are medical it has “points” from the Royal college of Surgeons as an approved course and may be tax deductable.
