I had a lot of fun at the joint Llanberis Meet this weekend, despite a ridiculously changeable forecast.
20 and a bit people came along. So a success depending upon your perspective………or which club you are in. 17 were LC&CC members, albeit 4 are also CC. 1 CC, 1 CC aspirant, 1 Rucksack Club and a cameo appearance from Paul Tanton.
Amazingly it was dry & pleasant enough to climb in the Pass on Friday & Saturday, which made me very happy. Lots of fantastic routes got done from V Diff through to E2. A couple went to slate. A couple did a long mountain walk. A couple went to Tremadog & Castell Helen.
Good social with everyone……with cake……and chocolate….. and beer .
Most of us stayed in the cosy Rucksack Club Hut, Beudy Mawr & somehow managed to get 9 vehicles parked on site, including 3 vans. A good alternative while Ynys is closed.
