Alpine Club and Climbers Club joint meet
Date: Saturday 1st June 2024 to Sunday 9th June 2024Venue: Fronwydyr in Nant Peris
From our base (Fronwydyr in Nant Peris), we will have easy access to countless crags of numerous rock types and difficulty levels, from short desperate test pieces to long mountain classics. There are options for both trad and sport climbing. (The meet has also been scheduled to correspond with a suitable tidal range at Gogarth.) The mountains of Eryri also offer endless opportunities for scrambling and hill walking if the weather does not shine on us. As in previous years we will have a pizza night at Gallt y Glyn on the Wednesday and a meal at a local pub on the last Saturday. The meet will be coordinated by Ian Bryant. If you would like to attend, please contact me in good time - I expect to have 12 beds available in the hut, which will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
