YNYS ETTWS UPGRADE COMPLETE
After a gestation period of several years, while architects and planners worked to agree a layout, the Ynys Ettws upgrade is now complete with the R W Lloyd Hut being available to book immediately. Remember that all hut stays have to be booked in advance and the hut is sure to be very popular.
The roof, windows and floors have been replaced and the only significant internal wall remaining is the rather substantial one separating the kitchen from the lounge.
To the exterior a new entrance porch has been built on the front of the hut and the back entrance has been closed off. At the rear, a new dormitory has been built along with a plant room for custodian's use. The old rear entrance lobby is now a drying room.
The interior has been completely re-modelled, while the lounge is as before, the kitchen is a little bigger and with a much better layout. The corridor has less of a rabbit warren feel to it. There are now 3 bunk rooms sleeping 19 in total, with 9, 6 and 4 in each room. The 6 bed room is available for exclusive use booking. The main shower and toilet area has been re-imagined and there is a second toilet and shower room in what used to be the drying room.
Camping and van arrangements are as before.
