SOUTH WEST CLIMBS VOL 1

This guidebook covers many major crags including those in Gloucestershire’s Wye Valley, the Bristol area, The Mendips and Dorset. Please note: The Lower Wye Valley guide is temporarily out of print while the new edition is in preparation, this guide includes all the best climbing in the Lower Wye Valley (Shorn Cliff, Winters Leap and Wynd Cliff).

All tastes are catered for, Trad, Sport, Bouldering and a bit of Deep Water Soloing. Many of the crags are close to major centres of population such as Bristol and this is a great guide to use to get to know the area. There is a fantastic range of predominantly Limestone crags, from easy roadside single pitch to the majestic multi-pitch routes at Winters Leap and in the two gorges, Avon and Cheddar. The observant will notice that there are no star ratings in the book, why? it is a selected climbs guide and so the routes are all good or great!
