WEST CORNWALL - BOSIGRAN AND THE NORTH COAST
2016 Andy March and Heather Ohly
The spectacular north coast of Cornwall between St Ives and Land’s End offers a superb collection of crags. While the ever popular Bosigran is rightly recognised as the ‘jewel in the crown’ there are dozens of other excellent venues including Sennen and Kendijack and many of these other crags are rarely frequented and justify a visit, especially at the height of the summer tourist season. The bulk of the climbing is on impeccable granite but there is also a lot of quality climbing on Killas slate which gives a very different experience. With over 1200 routes at all grades there is plenty for everyone.
Extensively researched by local activists with years of rock climbing experience on the north coast of West Cornwall, this definitive guidebook was written by Andy March and Heather Ohly, edited by Des Hanigan and includes photodiagrams Simon Cardy and maps Don Sargeant.
