Description

Ever popular and classic climbing close to London, plus ‘something completely different’ on the chalk sea-cliffs of the south coast.  Many climbers have cut their teeth on Harrison’s Rocks and the like, developing fingers of steel in the process and then going on to great things on larger crags. The sandstone is relatively soft and bouldering/top roping are the norm so you can develop skills in (relative) safety. The front cover sets the standard, this is a visually impressive book with colour topos (where tree cover allows!) and many inspiring action shots including  a couple of superb (and frightening?) images of the chalk sea cliffs.
